Kairuki School of Nursing
Kairuki School of Nursing is part of the Kairuki Health and Education Network (KHEN) affiliated to Kairuki university School of Nursing, which is known for its commitment to health education and research. Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
Admission to Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
KSN selects students to join the Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery programme in October, over May - September. Students seeking admission must apply immediately when the announcement is made through the NACTVET Central admission system (CAS). Students will be selected based on their O’ level results or equivalent, followed by assessment of their application forms, and academic performance. Successful candidates will immediately be enrolled.
Entry requirements
To be selected for the Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery an applicant must be a holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with At Least four (4) Passes in non-religious Subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences. A Pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language is an Added Advantage
Or must be a holder of Technician Certificate (NTA Level 5) in Nursing and at least a pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics OR an Average of B+ in Nursing and Midwifery/Public Health Nurse with at least a pass in Biology, Chemistry or Physics and work experience of two (2) years. Necessary attachments: License to Practice and Letter of Permission from Employer
